Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Equipment / Optical Coherent Tomography Machines

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is used to provide eye doctors with an image of the retina in the back of a patient's eye. The machine uses light waves to take three-dimensional photos that can provide doctors with an image of the layers and specific measurements that can help them diagnose different diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. The test is non-invasive and usually takes just a few minutes for a scan to be taken.

DescriptionCirrus HD-OCT captures a dense cube of scan data in just 2.4 seconds, providing 2-D and 3-D images, layer segmentation and optical biopsies for assessment of the retinal condition. Fovea Finder™, a ZEISS proprietary algorithm, automatically Stratus OCT incorporates optical coherence tomography technology to provide comprehensive imaging and measurement of glaucoma and retinal disease. Stratus OCT is the gold standard in-vivo imaging device for the posterior segment and offers proven Carl Zeiss Meditec's technological expertise in the diagnosis and monitoring of retinal disease became apparent with revolutionary instruments such as the Stratus OCT™ system. Now, with the introduction of the Visante OCT system, this same expertise As the first system to combine OCT and Placido disk technologies, Visante omni creates a new dimension in corneal and anterior segment evaluation. Integrating proven anterior topography from the ATLAS Corneal Topographer with precision OCT pachymetry
